11.49

論云「當知於彼十二分教，方廣一分唯菩薩藏，所餘諸分有聲聞藏」，餘處文違，此中據十一分實論通菩薩、聲聞藏，故言所餘諸分有聲聞藏；方廣一分據義勝故，唯菩薩藏。說彼小乘故，言內有十一，其實小乘自說亦有十二，有方廣分。其希法一種通二藏者，如前第三十六中會。

Regarding the treatise's statement, "It should be known that of those twelve divisions of teaching, the extensive (vaipulya) division alone belongs exclusively to the Bodhisattva-piṭaka, while the remaining divisions include the Śrāvaka-piṭaka": other passages contradict this; here, based on the fact that the eleven divisions in fact genuinely apply to both the Bodhisattva-piṭaka and the Śrāvaka-piṭaka, it says that the remaining divisions include the Śrāvaka-piṭaka; because the extensive division has superior meaning, it belongs exclusively to the Bodhisattva-piṭaka. Speaking of that Hīnayāna, it says that within it there are eleven; in fact, the Hīnayāna itself also states that it has twelve, having the extensive division. That the one class of marvellous phenomena (adbhutadharma) applies to both piṭakas is reconciled as previously in fascicle thirty-six.
