14.10

論「又所有受，識樹影」者，識有故受有，說受名影。何以唯言受者？以受為本，起境界愛。

The treatise says: 'Furthermore, all feelings are the shadow of the tree of consciousness.' Because consciousness exists, feeling exists; feeling is spoken of as a shadow. Why does it speak only of feeling? Because taking feeling as the root, craving for sensory objects arises.
