「唯說六善巧」者，《辨中邊》通說十善巧；〈決擇〉下說六；七善巧，《顯揚論》中〈成善巧品〉。說諸善巧，皆為破執，故數不同，廣如於彼。

Regarding 'it explains only six kinds of skill': the Madhyāntavibhāga generally speaks of ten kinds of skill; the Viniścayasaṃgrahaṇī below speaks of six; and seven kinds of skill are spoken of in the 'Chapter on Accomplishing Skill' in the Prakaraṇāryavācā. Explaining various skills is in all cases to shatter clinging; hence their numbers differ, as fully detailed in those texts.
