Regarding "Among karma abandoned by seeing, etc., it is only said that unwholesome karma of the bad destinies is abandoned by seeing": this is stated in terms of projecting karma; if concluding karma is also included, it extends to all five destinies, which is why the treatise says "etc." Chapter 53 states: "Actions going to bad destinies can only be generated by conceptually arisen afflictions." As for projecting and concluding karmas in the three bad destinies, because they arise conceptually, this specifically states that they are not distinct bad karmas induced among humans, are not abandoned by the path of seeing, and also that innate ones do not induce the bad destinies. Although [states such as] the non-conceptual absorption are also abandoned by seeing, they are not abandoned by detachment from bondage; therefore they are not mentioned here, or else they are subsumed under the word "etc." This is explained as in the commentary to the eighth fascicle of the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi, the fourth fascicle of the Abhidharma[-samuccaya], and so on. The ten three-gate karmas above have now been explained.
