4.60

第四、生流轉中有四：一、問；二、略答；三、重徵；四、廣釋。初頌標十門、後隨別釋。一、體；二、門；三、義；四、差別；五、次第；六、難；七、釋詞；八、緣性；九、分別緣；十、攝諸經。　「體」者，總明緣起三世分位生，引因果流轉、還滅之體，非是別顯十二緣生一一別體。一一別體，下差別門當廣釋，至彼文中具顯別體。

The fourth [section], on the transmigration of rebirth, has four parts: first, question; second, brief answer; third, re-interrogation; fourth, detailed explanation. The opening verse presents ten categories, followed by separate explanations: 1. entity; 2. doors; 3. meanings; 4. distinctions; 5. sequence; 6. difficulties; 7. etymology; 8. conditionality; 9. analyzing conditions; 10. subsuming sūtras. 'Entity' generally clarifies the entity of dependent origination across the divisions of the three times—the transmigration and cessation through projected causes and effects—and does not distinctively reveal the individual entities of the twelve links of dependent origination one by one. Their individual entities will be explained in detail below under the category of distinctions; when reaching that passage, the distinctive entities will be fully revealed.
