4.73

「於彼所緣不如實知，無明觸所生受亦後永斷」等者，謂有漏觸所生諸受受二果時，於所緣境不如實知，由此為緣，發起煩惱，發業潤生。由斷此受，無所依故，無明亦滅，所緣不增，證無漏慧，名慧解脫。由受斷故，不生貪愛，此相應心離相應縛，證心解脫。

Regarding 'Not knowing that object in accordance with reality, the feeling born of contact with ignorance is also subsequently abandoned forever' and so on: this means that when feelings born of defiled contact experience the two fruits, they do not know the objective realm in accordance with reality; with this as a condition, they give rise to afflictions, which generate karma and moisturize rebirth. Because this feeling is severed and has no support, ignorance is also extinguished, the objective realm does not increase, and one realizes uncontaminated wisdom, called liberation through wisdom. Because feeling is severed, craving does not arise; the mind associated with it is freed from the bondage of association, and one realizes liberation of mind.
