4.80

於因中，「或計自在、世性、士夫、中間」等者，自在天、冥性、士夫神我，梵王居中間禪，故名中間，如次配釋。

Concerning causes, regarding "or positing Īśvara, the primordial nature (prakṛti), the puruṣa, the intermediate, and so forth": Īśvara is the deity Maheśvara; the unmanifest nature (prakṛti); the puruṣa is the spiritual self; and King Brahmā resides in the intermediate dhyāna, hence called "intermediate"—these are coordinated and explained respectively.
