4.82

七無知攝十九中，「業異熟無知攝移轉」者，業能招果，迷而不知，執不平等因，故名移轉。或因果性善惡不定，於此生愚，故名移轉。「染淨愚」者，所愚因果通善惡故。

Among the seven types of unknowing subsuming the nineteen, regarding "unknowing of karma and maturation subsumes transition": karma is able to invite effects; being confused and ignorant of this, one clings to an unequal cause, hence called "transition." Or, because the nature of cause and effect is unfixed between good and evil, one produces folly regarding this; hence called "transition." Regarding "folly regarding defilement and purity": because the cause and effect concerning which one is foolish apply to both good and evil.
