三、出體性者，唯以等持而為體性，雖聞、思位有彼俱，等持勝故。或以定慧而為自性，於解脫中，此二勝故。相應四蘊，眷屬五蘊。

Third, identifying the essential nature: it has solely samādhi as its essential nature; although at the stages of hearing and thinking there are things associated with it, samādhi is preeminent. Or it has concentration and prajñā as its self-nature, because in liberation these two are preeminent. The associated factors are the four aggregates, and the retinue is the five aggregates.
