6.107

「又有七種涅槃所對除法」等者，於初衰損有一對治，體謂貪欲；第二衰損有二對治，一於道、二於道果，心不信解；於第三哀損有四對治，謂懈怠、失念、心亂、惡慧。此七因，二不善根起，故名品類。

Regarding 'Furthermore, there are seven kinds of dharmas to be eliminated for nirvāṇa,' and so forth: for the first decline, there is one antidote, whose essence is desire; for the second decline, there are two antidotes, one being lack of faith and understanding toward the path, and the second toward the fruit of the path; for the third decline, there are four antidotes, namely indolence, loss of mindfulness, mental distraction, and bad wisdom. Because these seven arise from the causes of two unwholesome roots, they are called categories.
