7.127

三摩地圓滿中有三：初釋十相、次結圓滿入根本地、後結廣教。十相者：一、願勝定滿；二、見定勝德；三、精勤策勵；四、折伏色愛；五、善未圓修，他惡尚勝；六、於淨天生，心無耽染；七、不自卑下，策舉增修；八、隨順二修；九、勤精正法；十、於止觀隨生愛。

Within the perfection of samādhi, there are three [parts]: first, explaining the ten characteristics; next, concluding the perfection of entering the fundamental bhūmi; and last, concluding the extensive teaching. The ten characteristics are: (1) aspiration for the superior concentration to be perfected; (2) seeing the superior virtues of concentration; (3) diligent exertion; (4) subduing attachment to form; (5) good qualities not yet cultivated to perfection while others' evils are still predominant; (6) the mind being free from clinging and defilement regarding birth in pure heavens; (7) not demeaning oneself, but spurring oneself on to increase cultivation; (8) conforming to the two cultivations; (9) diligent devotion to the true Dharma; (10) giving rise to affection in accord with śamatha and vipaśyanā.
