第十段有五頌，明集生苦中，「顯彼我見由集次第發生苦」者，貪愛正是集自體故，即內貪境名貪愛緣，能生苦故，皆名為集。我見及苦俱名當苦因緣，我見體亦是苦。

In the tenth section, which has five verses, explaining the arising of suffering from origin (samudaya): 'It shows that that view of self sequentially produces suffering due to origin' means that craving is precisely the substance of origin itself; hence, internal objects of craving are called the conditions of craving, and because they can produce suffering, all are called origin. Both the view of self and suffering are named the causes and conditions of future suffering; the substance of the view of self is also suffering.
