論云「云何名為一切善法？謂若彼對治」等者，此初句謂總能治，下二句是別能治。言彼者，即別之彼也，謂彼蓋結也；又前解不善法，今即彼前不善之對治也。下二句別出能治，初句即總也。

Regarding the treatise saying, "What is called all wholesome dharmas? Namely, if their counteragents..." and so forth: this first clause refers to the general counteragent, and the following two clauses are the specific counteragents. The word "their" refers to the "their" of the specific, meaning the hindrances and fetters; again, the preceding explained unwholesome dharmas, and now this is precisely the counteragent to those preceding unwholesome ones. The following two clauses specifically bring out the counteragents, while the first clause is the general one.
