論云「今此義中，當知唯說聲聞乘願、聲聞種姓」等者，此中明聲聞地故，唯取聲聞即種姓人。

Regarding the treatise: "In this context, it should be known that it only speaks of the aspirations of the Śrāvaka Vehicle, the lineage (gotra) of the Śrāvakas," and so forth: because this clarifies the Śrāvakabhūmi, it takes only those belonging to the Śrāvaka lineage.
