Where the treatise explains the path of seeing, stating, "Uninterruptedly following this, one gives rise to internal attention toward the principles of the noble truths previously contemplated; uninterruptedly following this attention, with respect to the noble truths contemplated in the previous sequence—whether directly seen or not directly seen—non-conceptual definitive wisdom and directly seeing wisdom arise in due order": uninterruptedly following the previous highest worldly dharma, toward the principles of the noble truths contemplated in that previous highest worldly dharma, one now gives rise to internal attention at the gateway to the true path of seeing. Uninterruptedly following this attention of the true path of seeing, within the path of seeing with signs, following the truths contemplated during the previous highest [worldly] dharma, with respect to these noble truths—whether directly seen [in this realm] or not directly seen in other directions or dissimilar realms—in the sequence of suffering, origin, and so forth, untainted, non-conceptual, definitive wisdom that is not led by another and removes doubts by itself manifests before one. Arising as directly perceived, realised wisdom, it is not like [the state] prior to the path of seeing, where doubts with conceptualisation could arise through inference; such is the meaning here. Furthermore, direct realisation following uninterruptedly from the highest worldly dharma is called 'uninterruptedly following this'. The intention here is that because the true path of seeing is difficult to comprehend, it skips ahead to speak of the path of seeing with signs, and then in turn explains that from which it follows uninterruptedly, which is the highest worldly dharma. It now returns to establish the former: that is, giving rise to internal attention toward the principles of the noble truths previously contemplated refers to the time of the highest worldly dharma; uninterruptedly following this attention, following the noble truths contemplated in the previous sequence, within the path of seeing with signs, whether directly seen or not directly seen, definitive wisdom and directly seeing wisdom arise; this is also the meaning here.
