Within the third major section, explaining the Gāthās of Meaning on Real Entity (Vastusaṃgrahaṇī-gāthā), the text is divided into three parts: first, concluding the preceding and introducing what follows; next, citing ninety-one verses and explaining them; and finally, at the end of the nineteenth fascicle, concluding all that was clarified above with a single verse. This forms fourteen sections. In this fascicle there are five sections in all. The first has one verse, called Evil; the second has four verses, called Preaching; the third has five verses, called Craving; the fourth has three verses, called Floods; the fifth has three and a half verses, called Fear; the sixth has three verses, called Classes; the seventh has two verses, called Citing; the eighth has three verses, called Ponds; the ninth has five verses, again called Floods; the tenth has four verses, again called Craving; the eleventh has five verses, called Actions; the twelfth has five verses, called Toil; the thirteenth has three verses, called Attaining Meaning; the fourteenth, beginning from "all conditioned phenomena are impermanent" and containing forty-four and a half verses, is called Discourses. Here, they are named either after what is clarified at the beginning of the verses or after the doctrinal purport, as explained in the later verses.
