爾時，世尊與千二百五十比丘，經行林中；又有結髮梵志五百人等，遙見彌勒威儀庠序，相好清淨，五體投地如銀山崩，成金花聚眾寶間廁。金花金臺，七寶為果，於臺閣中，有妙音聲而說偈言：

At that time, the World-Honoured One was walking mindfully in the forest together with twelve hundred and fifty monks; there were also five hundred Brahmacārins with matted hair. Seeing from afar Maitreya's dignified deportment and serene composure, and his pure marks and signs, he threw his five limbs to the ground like a silver mountain collapsing, transforming into a heap of golden flowers interspersed with various jewels. In the golden flowers and golden terraces, with the seven treasures as fruit, there was a wondrous voice from within the pavilions that spoke a verse, saying:
