安慧釋云：由七識熏習分別力故，八識生時，變似我、法，八識之中皆有執故。

Sthiramati explains: Due to the force of discrimination and perfuming of the seven consciousnesses, when the eight consciousnesses arise, they transform to resemble self and dharmas, because within all eight consciousnesses there is grasping.
