述曰：自下別釋，先釋俱生，後釋分別。初中有三：初釋俱生義；二顯其差別；三明斷位。唯藉內種起，與分別緣別。恒身俱者，解其「俱」義；而言「轉」者，解其生義。餘文易知。

The Commentary states: From here below is the separate explanation: first explaining the innate, and afterwards explaining the intellectually constructed. Within the first there are three parts: first, explaining the meaning of innate; second, showing its distinctions; third, clarifying its stage of abandonment. Arising solely by relying on internal seeds distinguishes its conditions from those of the intellectually constructed. 'Constantly coexisting with the body' explains the meaning of 'coexisting' (saha-); and the statement 'arises' explains the meaning of 'arising' (-ja). The remaining text is easy to understand.
