述曰：恐義無由故，引經證內心相有。言沙門者，息惡之義；婆羅門者，淨行種也。四姓之中一姓等餘三姓，或等所餘若天若魔若梵等也。此等總是能起計人所有我見，是能執惠五取蘊起所計境也。餘文易解。

The Commentary states: Fearing that the meaning would be without foundation, a sūtra is cited to prove that the internal mind's image exists. Saying 'śramaṇa' means cessation of evil; 'brāhmaṇa' is the caste of pure conduct. Among the four castes, one caste stands for the remaining three castes, or stands for the rest, whether devas, Māras, Brahmās, and so forth. All these are the persons capable of giving rise to imputations, and the view of self possessed [by them] is the wisdom capable of grasping; 'arise based on the five clinging-aggregates' is the imputed object. The rest of the text is easily understood.
