量云：汝第十句無法之外應別立性；因云：除大有、同異、和合等六句之外，有、無二法互相違故；如實、德、業。因中不言除大有等者，即有不定過。為如實、德等，與無互違故。無法之外更別立性，為如大有等，無法互違故。無法之外不別立性，故今簡言除有等六。

The inference is formulated: Outside your tenth category of non-existence, a distinct nature should be posited; the reason is: because, excluding the six categories of great existence, generality-particularity, inherence, and so forth, the two dharmas of existence and non-existence are mutually contradictory; like substance, quality, and action. If one does not say in the reason 'excluding great existence and so forth', then there is the fallacy of inconclusiveness: Is it like substance, quality, and so forth, being mutually contradictory with non-existence, so that outside non-existent dharmas a further distinct nature is posited; or is it like great existence and so forth, being mutually contradictory with non-existent dharmas, so that outside non-existent dharmas a distinct nature is not posited? Therefore, one now qualifies it by saying 'excluding the six, existence and so forth'.
