子段第二，難同異性。彼執同異是諸實、德等體性，非即實等，此是多法，故今破之。

The second subordinate section challenges the nature of generality-particularity. They hold that generality-particularity is the substance-nature of substance, quality, and so forth, and is not identical with substance and so forth; this comprises manifold dharmas, so one now refutes it.
