述曰：此中有二：初敘；後非。大自在天，一、體實有；二、遍一切；三、是常住；四、能生一切法。如此類計，西方極多。初敘計也。

The Commentary states: Herein there are two [parts]: first, the statement [of their thesis]; second, its refutation. As for Great Maheśvara, first, his substance is truly existent; second, he is omnipresent; third, he is eternal; fourth, he is able to produce all dharmas. Theses of this kind are extremely numerous in the Western region. The first [part] states the thesis.
