述曰：此下第二，唯勝論師計。彼轉計言：所生果色與量德合，即德句中量德有五，即微量、大量也。有量德合故，雖與極微量等，非麁，似麁色根能取。然本極微非麁德合故。

The Commentary states: This is the second point below, which is posited only by the Vaiśeṣikas. They shift their thesis, saying: The produced material effect combines with the quality of magnitude (parimāṇa)—that is, among the qualities, there are five kinds of magnitude, namely atomic magnitude, great magnitude, and so forth. Because it combines with the quality of magnitude, although it is equal in size to an atom, it is not [truly] coarse, but appearing coarse, it can be apprehended by physical sense faculties; however, the original atom is not combined with the quality of coarseness.
