述曰：戒攝前三者，施是戒資糧，戒是戒自性，忍是戒眷屬，由忍不破戒故。餘二可知。精進三學攝，遍策三學故。七十八、《解深密》說同此。

The Commentary states: That moral discipline subsumes the first three means that giving is the provision for moral discipline, moral discipline is the intrinsic nature of moral discipline, and patience is the retinue of moral discipline, because through patience one does not violate moral discipline. The remaining two can be understood. Vigor is subsumed under all three trainings, because it universally spurs the three trainings. Fascicle seventy-eight [of the Yogācārabhūmi] and the Saṃdhinirmocana-sūtra state the same as this.
