述曰：謂：第一、言執著，明是利障品俱起愚；第二、言惡趣雜染，非必業果，但是鈍障品俱起愚，毀責名趣。此中不別言餘煩惱，餘煩惱但是利、鈍障品，俱起之愚即唯無明，此師意說。唯取無明與見、非見俱名為利、鈍，說十地中斷十無明故，不取餘煩惱等也。

The Commentary states: That is to say, the first, speaking of 'grasping,' clarifies that it is the ignorance co-arising with the category of sharp obstacles; the second, speaking of 'defilement of miserable destinies,' is not necessarily karma and results, but is merely the ignorance co-arising with the category of dull obstacles, disparagingly named 'destinies.' Here, other afflictions are not separately mentioned; other afflictions are merely the categories of sharp and dull obstacles, and the co-arising ignorance is exclusively avidya. This is what this master intends. Taking solely ignorance co-arising with views or non-views to be named sharp or dull, it is said that the ten grounds sever ten kinds of ignorance; hence other afflictions and so forth are not included.
