述曰：《瑜伽論》第十一說：第二定斷苦根，苦根種子初定已斷，今者斷彼苦根麁重，說第二禪斷彼苦根故。後諸地麁重准此為二解。第六，以障即無明，為同？為異？

The Commentary states: Fascicle 11 of the Yogācārabhūmi states: the second dhyāna severs the faculty of pain; the seeds of the faculty of pain were already severed in the first dhyāna, but now one severs the unserviceability of that faculty of pain, which is why it is said that the second dhyāna severs that faculty of pain. The unserviceability of subsequent grounds should follow this to form two explanations. Sixth, as to whether the obstacle is identical to ignorance: are they the same, or are they different?
