述曰：論主答：雖實初地出見道已，修道位中亦斷俱生所知一分，今十障中從初說，故不說修障。初地既從初說，後九地中所說九障准此應知，皆從初說。何以得知初地等入地心出見道等，已更斷餘惑？

The Commentary states: The author of the treatise answers: Although in reality, after emerging from the path of vision in the first ground, one also severs a portion of innate cognitive [obstacle] in the stage of the path of cultivation, now among the ten obstacles they are stated according to the beginning; hence the obstacles of cultivation are not mentioned. Since the first ground is stated according to the beginning, the nine obstacles mentioned in the subsequent nine grounds should be understood accordingly, as all are stated according to the beginning. How is it known that after the initial moment of entering the ground and emerging from the path of vision in the first ground and so forth, one further severs remaining defilements?
