10.23

述曰：悟此真如證涅槃者，以涅槃者即是真如離雜染法。又假涅槃依真而立，能、所依異，此位斷障金剛心後證得，非此位即證。

The Commentary states: Awakening to this tathatā and realizing nirvāṇa is because nirvāṇa is simply tathatā free from defiled dharmas. Furthermore, nominal nirvāṇa is established on the basis of the real; the supporting and the supported are distinct. In this stage, having severed hindrances, it is realized after the diamond-like mind; it is not that it is realized right in this stage.
