述曰：欲貪愚障勝定及修惠者，即由於五欲起貪多住散亂，障於定及修惠，修惠與定相近故。唯說障，非不亦障思惠等。問：欲貪者煩惱名，何故所知障中名欲貪？

The Commentary states: The ignorance of lust and craving obstructing superior samādhi and cultivation-discernment means that, by giving rise to craving for the five desires, one mostly abides in distraction, which obstructs samādhi and cultivation-discernment, because cultivation-discernment is close to samādhi. It only mentions obstructing [these], not that it does not also obstruct thought-discernment and so forth. Question: 'Lust and craving' is the name of an affliction; why is it called lust and craving within the cognitive obstructions?
