述曰：第五亦同，通有、無學，一、唯自利；二、有欣、厭；三、唯達生空；四、唯斷煩惱；五、唯證真擇滅；六、無勝能。真擇滅者，謂真如，由慧擇得此滅故。無勝堪能者，無一切智等故。

The Commentary states: The fifth is also the same, encompassing those with training (śaikṣa) and without training (aśaikṣa): first, it is solely for self-benefit; second, it has longing and revulsion; third, it only penetrates the emptiness of persons; fourth, it only severs afflictions; fifth, it only realizes true analytical cessation (pratisaṃkhyānirodha); sixth, it lacks superior capacity. "True analytical cessation" refers to tathatā, because through the analysis of wisdom one attains this cessation. "Lacking superior capacity" means lacking omniscience (sarvajñatā) and so forth.
