述曰：此是正答，其文可解。令不發生大悲般若者，真如為所證緣起後得智，後得智即般若，般若能起大悲故，於生死、涅槃二俱不住。如既不證悲、智不生。

The Commentary states: This is the direct answer; its text is intelligible. Causing great compassion and prajñā not to arise means: with tathatā as the realized object, subsequent wisdom arises; subsequent wisdom is prajñā, and because prajñā can give rise to great compassion, one abides in neither saṃsāra nor nirvāṇa. If tathatā is not realized, compassion and wisdom do not arise.
