述曰：下第二，問應得擇滅，於中初問、後答。答中有二：初答非；後答是。初中有五：一、答；二；徵；三、釋；四、難；五、通。此又外問，涅槃即以擇滅為性故。

The Commentary states: Below is the second part, the question that one should attain cessation through deliberation, wherein first is the question and then the answer. The answer has two parts: first answering in the negative, then answering in the affirmative. The first contains five parts: 1. the answer; 2. the challenge; 3. the explanation; 4. the objection; 5. the resolution. Here the opponent asks again, because nirvāṇa has cessation through deliberation as its nature.
