述曰：如前四緣中已解。第一師云：菩薩修道位中，第六意識後得引故，亦得初起，於淨土中起五識故，《佛地論》等亦有此義。雖言初地即亦得起，然非見道，見道已後，修道得智方起，真相見道中不緣外事起麁識故。

The Commentary states: This has already been explained above under the four conditions. The first master says: In the bodhisattva's stage of the path of cultivation, because it is induced by the pṛṣṭhalabdha-jñāna of the sixth manovijñāna, it can also first arise, because the five consciousnesses arise in the pure lands; this meaning is also found in the Buddhabhūmi-śāstra and elsewhere. Although it says that it can also arise in the first bhūmi, yet it is not in the path of seeing; after the path of seeing, when the wisdom of the path of cultivation is attained, it only then arises, because in the true and proximate paths of seeing one does not cognize external phenomena to give rise to coarse consciousness.
