述曰：第六，種性本有始起門。地前種增，入地二增；地前用增，入地體增，現起別故。餘文可解，唯護法義。

The Commentary states: The sixth is the section on the lineages being inherently existent or newly arising. Before the bhūmis, seeds increase; upon entering the bhūmis, both [seeds and manifestations] increase. Before the bhūmis, function increases; upon entering the bhūmis, substance increases, because actual arising is distinct. The rest of the text is intelligible; this is Dharmapāla's position alone.
