述曰：頌中有三：初一句出位體；次七字顯勝德；餘八字簡二乘，顯三乘別。

The Commentary states: In the verse there are three parts: the first single line presents the essence of the stage; the next seven characters reveal its supreme virtues; the remaining eight characters exclude the two vehicles and reveal the distinction of the three vehicles.
