述曰：外人復問。此二智品應不並起，餘論等說，無處、無容，同身、同類，一身二識許俱時生。今既一類第六識者，應不俱起。

The Commentary states: The outsider asks again: These two categories of wisdom should not arise simultaneously. Other treatises and texts state that it is impossible and inadmissible for two consciousnesses of the same class to arise simultaneously in the same body. Now, since both belong to the same class of the sixth consciousness, they should not arise simultaneously.
