述曰：一切事業者，謂隨順度所有事業，皆應行之成滿度故。《攝論》有六，除初種姓，即菩提心中攝故。然無性引頌亦似證有初種姓，云：「麟角喻無有，六波羅蜜多，唯我最勝尊，上品到彼岸」。然《對法》第十一：六度相中有五，安住菩薩種姓，菩提心為依止，以悲導心，捨一切時，所有三業，即有五義，名六度相。然《顯揚》第三亦有六義成度，然別於《攝論》，不能煩引。唯此論中，具包諸論。

The Commentary states: "All activities" means that one should practice all activities that accord with the perfections in order to complete the perfections. The Mahāyānasaṃgraha lists six, omitting the first, "spiritual lineage" (gotra), because it is subsumed within the bodhicitta. However, the verse cited by Asvabhāva also seems to prove that there is the first, lineage, stating: "The rhinoceros-like [pratyekabuddhas] do not possess the six perfections; only our Most Honoured Supreme One achieved the supreme arrival at the other shore." But Fascicle 11 of the Abhidharma-samuccaya states: Among the marks of the six perfections there are five: abiding in the bodhisattva lineage, having the bodhicitta as support, guiding the mind with compassion, relinquishing at all times, and all three karmas; thus there are five meanings called the marks of the six perfections. Furthermore, Chapter 3 of the Prakaraṇāryavācā also has six meanings that constitute a perfection, though it differs from the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, so it cannot be cited in detail here. Only this treatise fully encompasses all the other treatises.
