述曰：第二因破。或應此語，多剎那聲是實能詮者，理亦不然，多念相續便非實故。量云：多念語聲應不實能詮表；多念相續聲故；如風鈴等。或因云：語聲性故；如一念聲。一念聲詮，前已破故，得為喻也。

The Commentary states: The second reason refutes [it]. Or, if it should be that this speech—a sound of multiple moments—is really capable of expressive signification, this is also logically incorrect, because a continuity of multiple moments is simply not real. The syllogism is: 'The vocal sound of multiple moments should not be truly capable of expressive signification; because it is a sound of a continuity of multiple moments; like wind chimes and so forth.' Or the reason may be: 'Because it is of the nature of vocal sound; like the sound of a single moment.' Expressive signification by the sound of a single moment was already refuted earlier, so it can serve as the example.
