述曰：自下第二、教外別生徵。於中有二：初總；後別。今總問彼。又此得等於所得法，有何勝用？

The Commentary states: From here down is the second [part], a distinct inquiry apart from scriptural authority. Within this there are two parts: first, a general [inquiry]; second, a specific [inquiry]. Now, he asks them in general: Furthermore, what superior function do these prāptis have with respect to the phenomena that are acquired?
