述曰：此設彼救，未得已失之法現雖無得，彼皆許有俱生得故，後時能起，以俱生得為能起因故。今牒之云：若爾者，次論主難。
The Commentary states: This posits their defense: although phenomena not yet acquired or already lost presently have no prāpti, they all maintain that there is co-nascent prāpti, so that they can arise at a later time by taking co-nascent prāpti as the generating cause. Now taking this up, it says: If so, then next the author of the treatise refutes them:
