述曰：釋其所以，唯依見、斷種子上立，此有四種，一、無種姓，乃至第四如來種姓之所隨逐，隨所有姓，二障種子即建立之，不唯約能障上立，無種姓人無別障故，應言未得見道二障上立，二乘斷一分，名一分聖，俱句攝故。此等諸門及釋難，如下第九十障中解。

The Commentary states: Explaining the reason why it is established solely upon the seeds to be abandoned by seeing: there are four kinds [of persons], from those without gotra up to the fourth, those followed by the Tathāgata-gotra; according to whatever gotra one possesses, it is established upon the seeds of the two obstructions; it is not established solely upon what is able to obstruct, because those without gotra have no separate obstruction; it should be said that it is established upon the two obstructions of those who have not yet attained the path of seeing. When the two vehicles sever one portion, they are called partial noble ones, because they are subsumed under the category of having both. These various approaches and the resolution of objections are explained below in the tenth fascicle under the ten obstructions.
