述曰：此論主答。言「無心」者，彼滅或六、或七轉識，非阿賴耶，此恒有故，所以有煖、壽。外人問曰：何知此位有此識也？

The Commentary states: Here the author of the treatise answers. What is meant by 'mindless' is that in that [state] either six or seven evolving consciousnesses are ceased, not the ālayavijñāna; because this [ālayavijñāna] is constant, there are warmth and life span. The outsider asks: How is it known that this consciousness exists in this state?
