述曰：此外人答出其有理，非但經說，且於三位中心等不起。若無別實法遮心等，不生心等，如何能暫不起？
The Commentary states: Here the opponent replies, giving their rationale: not only are they stated in the sūtras, but also in the three states mind and so forth do not arise. If there were no distinct real dharma obstructing mind and so forth so that mind and so forth do not arise, how could they temporarily cease to arise?
