述曰：即以厭心功能種子為定體性，故定是善，此則二定加行門別，《對法》第二、《顯揚》第一、《瑜伽》第五十二、五十六等廣說，及彼抄會。又此論第七卷自廣解。

The Commentary states: That is, taking the functional bīja of revulsion toward the mind as the intrinsic substance of the absorption, the absorption is therefore wholesome. These are the distinctions in the preparatory aspects of the two absorptions, explained in detail in Abhidharma-samuccaya, fascicle 2, Prakaraṇāryavācā, fascicle 1, and Yogācārabhūmi, fascicles 52 and 56, etc., as well as reconciled in their commentaries. Furthermore, fascicle 7 of this treatise will itself explain it at length.
