述曰：此無想天非真異熟，是異熟生。諸論說名無想異熟者，依真第八異熟識生得種立，故名異熟，非是總報真實異熟，如言從異熟所生名異熟生故。無想異熟及二無心定亦非實有，總結非也，餘門分別如下當知。就別破中，上來四段合破七種不相應訖，初二定持業釋，無想異熟通持業、依士，下第三、第七卷自當了知。

The Commentary states: This Heaven of Non-Conception is not true maturation; it is maturation-born (vipākaja). The treatises call it 'non-conceptual maturation' because it is established upon the acquired-at-birth seeds of the true eighth maturation consciousness, hence called 'maturation'; it is not the true maturation of the general retribution, just as being produced from maturation is called 'maturation-born.' Non-conceptual maturation and the two absorptions without mind are likewise not substantially existent: this summarizes the refutation. The other categorical analyses should be known below. Within the specific refutations, the above four sections together conclude the refutation of seven citta-viprayukta-saṃskāras. The first two absorptions are karmadhāraya compounds; non-conceptual maturation admits of both karmadhāraya and tatpuruṣa, as will naturally be understood in fascicles 3 and 7 below.
