述曰：此即總非大乘四相與色、心等，非一非異，遮外定異有實自體，故言此經不說異等。此下別破有七。

The Commentary states: This is the general refutation. In the Mahāyāna, the four characteristics are neither identical to nor different from form, mind, and so forth. Negating the opponent's assertion that they are definitively different and have substantial intrinsic natures, it says 'this sūtra does not say that they are different,' etc. Below, the specific refutations are seven.
