述曰：以相違故，如苦、樂受。彼若救言：誰謂相違？若爾，滅相應不滅；住不相違故；如生相等。又難此師。

The Commentary states: because they are mutually opposed, like painful and pleasant feelings. If they rescue by saying: 'Who said they are mutually opposed?' then if so, the mark of destruction should not destroy; because it is not opposed to abiding; like the mark of birth and the others. He also objects to this master:
