述曰：大眾等四部立九無為，化地部亦執有九，各各不同，此下方破。此等無為離心、心所體非實有，許無為故；如三無為。如是一切准前應破，下重總破以上諸部。

The Commentary states: The four schools, including the Mahāsāṃghika, posit nine unconditioned phenomena, and the Mahīśāsakas also cling to nine, each differing from the other; these are refuted below. These unconditioned phenomena are not real existents apart from citta and caitasikas, because they are accepted as unconditioned; just like the three unconditioned phenomena. All of these should be refuted by analogy with the preceding. Below, there is a reiteration generally refuting the above schools.
