述曰：而此本性不由惠能而性清淨，名非擇滅；或有為法緣闕不生，不生之滅顯真理故，名非擇滅，離無漏惠而自滅故。

The Commentary states: Moreover, because this intrinsic nature is pure by nature without relying on the capacity of wisdom, it is called cessation not through deliberation; alternatively, when conditioned phenomena do not arise due to the lack of conditions, the cessation of non-arising reveals the true principle, and it is thus called cessation not through deliberation, because it ceases on its own apart from undefiled wisdom.
